Roke, a leading provider of intelligence and data analysis solutions and sensor platforms, has announced the signing of a significant multi-year agreement with a major US Prime Contractor for the supply of its high-speed Miniature Radar Altimeter (MRA).
Roke's MRA delivers assured and proven performance in a low Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) package. The MRA is deployable across numerous platforms including missile systems and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Incorporating Roke proprietary software algorithms and cutting-edge digital signal processing hardware, the MRA delivers highly accurate altitude measurements over land and sea, even in high-speed, low-altitude, and austere operating environments.
The agreement, valued at least £26 million (US$32 million) across four years, represents a significant milestone for Roke and complements its existing rest of the world MRA Users. Production of the MRA will be based at the company’s Romsey facility, with deliveries set to commence in October 2025.
With a proven track record in engineering excellence, Roke continues to develop and deliver technologies that enhance performance and reliability across defence and aerospace applications.
