Automatically detecting, categorising and quantifying water pollutants for Anglian Water
Companies like Anglian Water currently have to deploy physical ground sensors to monitor pollutants. This is challenging because of the geographic spread and seasonal changes in affected water bodies. Anglian Water’s @one Alliance partnership contacted Roke to develop a conceptual solution introducing intelligent digital solutions to automatically detect, categorise and quantify water pollutants.

Find out moreAgile crime case management
Ongoing criminal cases are managed with the support of an event log, updated by investigators with chronological entries and distributed activities. In large-scale investigations, this flat structure can slow down the tracking of progress and actions. Find out how we researched more agile ways in which law enforcement officers could streamline their approach to case management.
Find out moreAcoustic drone detection
As drone technology improves, security threats are rapidly evolving. Locating these devices is critical, but different geographic and electromagnetic environments often require very different approaches to detection, and active methods like radar are not always viable. To counter this, passive techniques, like acoustic monitoring, must be developed.
Find out moreAI comparative CT scans
The current process for radiology reviews for oncology patients is that disease progression is evaluated by comparing Computerised Tomography (CT) scans. This process is time consuming and complicated. Find out how we used AI to develop a proof of concept that has the potential to speed up the analysis of CT scans.
