Colin Robertson
Colin Robertson joined Roke as the Intelligence Business Unit Director in September 2024, and is focussed on driving growth of the company’s open-source and proprietary intelligence capabilities.
He brings 30 years’ experience developing and promoting cutting-edge intelligence solutions that meet the evolving demands of clients in the maritime insurance, shipping, commodities, and defence sectors. Colin leads Roke’s offering in simplifying and providing analysis on complex data, ensuring near real-time asset tracking and situational awareness are enabled on a global scale – whilst building in crucial human expertise.
Prior to Roke, his experience spans electronics engineering, project management and policy roles across the UK civil service and private sector, including leading complex projects and engagements for Detica, BAE Systems Digital Intelligence and Northrop Grumman. Most recently, he formed and developed a significant new business area working collaboratively with customers and industry partners to deliver innovative open-source intelligence services.
